A crash in mood, energy, or emotional wellbeing that can occur after an intense scene — sometimes hours or days later. Caused by the rapid comedown from the neurochemical high of play. Can manifest as sadness, irritability, fatigue, or a feeling of disconnection. Knowing it is likely and planning for it — including check-ins in the days following a scene — significantly reduces its impact.
