Self-Hosted Analytics
Our analytics platform runs on infrastructure we control. Your reading patterns never reach a third-party analytics company.
No Account Required
Reading KinkLit requires no registration, no email, and no personal information of any kind. You are never asked to identify yourself.
Aggregated Only
We see that an article was read. We do not see who read it. No individual reader is ever identified, profiled, or tracked.
Why this matters here
This is a site about kink, BDSM, and sexuality. We understand that for many readers, that context makes privacy not a preference but a genuine need. What you read here is your business.
We do not know who you are. We do not know which articles you read. We do not have a record of your visit that anyone — including us — could retrieve or disclose. That is not an accident. It is a design choice.

Third-Party Services
These are every external service involved in running this site. We chose each one deliberately and have described exactly what role they play.
Umami Analytics
Website analyticsSelf-hosted on our own infrastructure. No data is sent to Umami's servers or any external company. Cookie-free and fingerprint-free.
Google Fonts
TypographyFonts are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log the font request at the network level. No other data is shared.
Cloudflare
DNS, CDN, and network routingCloudflare acts as our network intermediary and provides DDoS protection. Connection metadata may be logged per Cloudflare's policy.
Microsoft Azure
Application hostingOur application runs on Azure infrastructure. Microsoft does not access application data beyond standard infrastructure operation.
Neon
Database hostingOur PostgreSQL database is hosted on Neon's serverless infrastructure. Content and CMS data is stored here. Neon does not access your data beyond what is required to operate the database service.
